Through the Lion of Judah school outside of Nairobi, Kenya, many more lives are being saved. 31 girls have been rescued from forced marriages, 43 come from single-parent homes or are orphaned. 6 new students come from deeply impoverished families from the years of famine that has occurred.
In the Masai culture, girls at ages 13, 14, or 15 are forced to marry an older man, take care of his household, and have children for him. The girls who are attending the boarding school at Lion of Judah are being rescued from that lifestyle and learning they were made in the image of God for so much more.
Pictured here are some of the girls in front of their mud huts.
